Cold outreach is telling strangers about your clothing product.

Relevant examples of cold outreach for streetwear brands include:

  • Running paid ads
  • Influencer advertising
  • Billboards

and more recently...

  • TikToks and Reels

Here's the thing:

Doing cold outreach through Instagram reels and TikToks is difficult in the busiest stages of your brand.

In fact, lack of time due to devotion to other tasks is the main objection I hear to creating content daily. And it isn't invalid!

But the problem with this mindset is that when today's busyness comes to an end, you won't have acquired tomorrow's customers.

In other words, if you want to stay busy with customers, you should be building the drop 2 audience before you even release drop 1.

My point is this:

If you've got more time than money, find an extra 60 minutes in your day to create content.

If you've got more money than time, pay someone to create content for you.

But whatever you do,

don't think your too busy to create content.

Because if you do,

you may just find yourself without customers to be busy with tomorrow.
